Michael (Mike) Pacifico Wallig - April 9, 1993 - September 7, 2017. Born in Newark, Delaware at Christiana Hospital to Daniel E. Wallig and Maria C. (Isidro) Wallig. Michael is survived by his parents and brothers Eric (Seattle, WA) and Matthew (Boise, ID). Also by his Aunt Teresa Isidro (Woodinville, WA), Aunt Alice Isidro (Rehoboth Beach, DE), Aunt Mary Rose and Uncle James Lawler (Middletown, DE), Uncle Walter Isidro (Woodinville, WA), Aunt Amy, Uncle Gary, and Cousin Grace Parosky (Middletown, DE), and Grandfathers Lyle Wallig (Wilmington, DE) and Pacifico Isidro (Woodinville, WA). Michael (Mike) Pacifico Wallig - April 9, 1993 - September 7, 2017. Born in Newark, Delaware at Christiana Hospital to Daniel E. Wallig and Maria C. (Isidro) Wallig. Michael is survived by his parents and brothers Eric (Seattle, WA) and Matthew (Boise, ID). Also by his Aunt Teresa Isidro (Woodinville, WA), Aunt Alice Isidro (Rehoboth Beach, DE), Aunt Mary Rose and Uncle James Lawler (Middletown, DE), Uncle Walter Isidro (Woodinville, WA), Aunt Amy, Uncle Gary, and Cousin Grace Parosky (Middletown, DE), and Grandfathers Lyle Wallig (Wilmington, DE) and Pacifico Isidro (Woodinville, WA). He is preceded in death by his Grandmothers Teresita Bernabe Isidro and Margaret Mary Wallig. Michael's education started at Mrs. Green's Preschool in Middletown DE; he entered 1st grade at St. Elizabeth's Elementary School in Wilmington, DE. After a family move to Washington, he attended Christa McAuliffe Elementary, Inglewood Junior High School, and graduated from Eastlake High School in Sammamish. Later, he attended Delaware County Community College in Pennsylvania.
Mike was creative, always drawing and sketching his favorite video game characters. Mike was an avid gamer and reader. Some of Mike's favorite games were StarCraft, League of Legends, and Path of Exile.
While living in Delaware, Michael enjoyed the weekend trips to the beach to swim in the ocean, boogie boarding, and building sandcastles. As he got older, Michael's favorite activities included swimming and playing tennis.
When he was in grade school and middle school, Michael participated in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. During his time in Boy Scouts, Michael became a certified scuba diver and enjoyed a dive trip to the Florida Keys, and he accomplished a 100-mile hike at Philmont Scout Reservation in New Mexico.
Michael worked as a professional video game tester at Volt in Redmond, WA. Prior to Volt, he worked at CBRE in Redmond, WA and part-time at Target in Springfield, PA.
A celebration of Michael's life will be held on September 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Cedar Lawns Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 7200 180th Ave NE, Redmond, WA 98052.
